This year I had a new shopping buddy, April. Our morning started off at 3:40! Our first stop was Walmart. Since we both wanted items that we thought would be big, we wanted to be there early. We shopped at Walmart, Home Depot, Target, Ink Spot, Avenue, Mardels, Cavenders, and Walgreens.
On our way to Cavenders, we got a phone call from my sister, Michelle. Michelle and Heather had just been in a car accident. April and I drove by the accident and I commented on that it looked like a bad one.
After I dropped off April, I stopped by the house to pick up Sarah. We drove to the Mattel warehouse and did some more shopping. We also stopped off at Toys R Us and Micheals.
Thanks April for tagging along with me! I had a great time!

My new Fern!!

A few weeks ago, Debi and I went to the farmers market in Fort Worth. They had the most beautiful ferns. When I asked how much they cost, I just had to have one. We knew the ferns were big, but we had no idea how big. Now that it is home, it seems too big!! But, I love it!! What makes it even better, is the fact that when we went to pay for it she gave us a huge discount. I only paid $6.99!!! Wahooooooo!!
Yet, Another Cast!!

Rebekah, Rebekah, Rebekah . . .
It seems as if every year this little girl must have a cast. Kindergarten, she fell out of the computer chair at home and broke her right wrist. First grade, she fell off the monkey bars and broke her left elbow at school. This involved surgery! Last week we went to Chick fil a for a school fundraiser. She went down the slide and someone stepped on her little pinkie on her left hand. Since the brake was just above the hand it is casted for 3 weeks.
When she first came out crying about her finger, I told her it's ok. Here is some ice cream, now stop your crying. We went home and went to bed. The next morning she woke up and it was swollen. I took her to CareNow and they informed us that it was just sprained. She will be fine. We paid our $50! and left. This was on Wednesday. On Friday they called and said, "Opps, it is broken." I called our Ortho, Dr. Q, as Rebekah likes to call her. On Monday, we went to see Dr. Q. All the way there Rebekah was talking about what color of cast she was going to be getting this time. hahaha She is too cute! We ended up with a light blue cast this time. How long will it be before we are back in Dr. Q's office????
New Wreath

I just love the fall. I especially love the fact that I get to drag out my fall wreath. For years, it has looked very pitiful. This year I purchased the new flowers, leaves and berries. I gave it all to my mom and said go for it.
My mom has a great talent for things like this. I try, but I can't ever get them to turn out like this. I love it!
Georgah ~ Growing up too fast!

Georgah has grown up so fast the past few months. It's amazing how fast it happens. For a couple of years I have been trying to get her to pierce her ears. She always would say "NO!" We came close on her birthday. But after watching Rebekah having hers done, there was no way it was going to happen.
One Sunday in October, Georgah leaned over to Clyde in church and said, "Dad, can I get my ears pierced?" Since this was the week after my surgery, I wasn't there to witness her sincere desire. That night, Clyde told me of her conversation. I jumped on it. The very next day, Georgah and I went to eat lunch with my dad and to have her ears pierced. She did a great job!
Georgah has a great love for babies. I think she will one day grow up to have lots of little ones running around. Last month our niece Laura got married. My brother and sister in law stopped by the reception with their new daughter Addison. Georgah was so excited to see her newest cousin!
