I have always wanted to be able to play the piano. Mom and Dad did give me piano lessons when I was younger, but I never really appreciated it. Now, I am wishing I had. There is something about the piano that is very relaxing to me.
I have always enjoyed listening to Jim Brickman. I guess you could say I am in a piano mode right now. That is why my new play list is ALL Jim Brickman. When I listen to him play, I can image myself at the piano playing the songs. I know that might sound a little odd. If it does, than I guess I am just a little odd.

We finally bit the bullet and bought. . .
Saturday was Sarah's 15th birthday. For several weeks, I had been asking her what she wanted for her birthday. She would never tell us. Saturday I took her out with me to do some much needed grocery shopping. We were at Costco. She saw the Wii.

She send a text message to Clyde asking if we could purchase it for her Birthday. She really thought he would say NO. Instead, he asked the normal questions, that most fathers do. How much does it cost? Is that a good deal? What else will you need? After giving him all his answers he said "YES"!! Sarah was so excited!!
We purchased it after checking out several different stores. I hate to purchase the first thing I see. I always have a need to make sure I am getting the best deal! Needless to say, I don't think the Wii has had too much rest this week. We can now get rid of our old game system, which is the original PlayStation 1!! Yep, that's how far off in game systems we have been in.

My new Adventure
I have always enjoyed going to all the different parties that people have. I have decided to be a Tupperware Consultant! I think I might be just a little bit crazy for doing this. I sold jewelry years ago and know how crazy life can be when running parties. I would like to do a few. There isn't a monthly min to sell every month. I only have to sell so much every quarter.
If anyone is interested just click on the link to the right. It will take you to my website. You can either order from there or just give me a call.

WOW! It has been a long time. . .
I can't believe that it has been so long since my last post. Things here have been crazy. We seem to always be on the go with something.
So, first things first. Yes, Sarah did get into EFY for this summer. She is going back to the San Antonio session with her cousins Malcolm, Cole, and Dallin. She is excited!
We have our summer travel plans all planned out. The girls get out of school either on Wednesday, June 3 or Thursday, June 4. It all depends on when the make them make up their ice day. The next week Sarah and Hannah go off to Girls Camp. A week after they have been home from camp, we are taking a family road trip. We will be gone for 8 days. During our 8 days we plan on seeing Mount Rushmore, Yellowstone, Salt Lake City, Four Corners, Santa Fe, and back home to Texas. We figured during our 8 days we should go through 10 states. We will come home to have the Gormley Family Reunion. The next week the girls and I will load back up in the van. This time we will be traveling to the North East to spend several days with Sandra and her family. We plan on coming home on a Saturday. Two days later, Sarah and her cousins and I will load up back in the van and drive to San Antonio. That will be a day trip for me. I will have to go back on Friday night to be ready for the 7 am pickup on Saturday. After that we will work on getting ready for school. What a busy summer!! But it will be full of fun memories!!
The Boy Scout Spaghetti Dinner was a hit once again. We didn't make as much as we did last year. I still think for the way things are with the economy we did great! I am in the process of finishing up that report, so that Clyde can calculate what each youth made.
